What Happens After The Happily Ever After?

If you grew up in the 80s, fairy tale endings might have shaped the way you view relationships. Snow White, Cinderella, Belle all ended up with a handsome prince and so as young girls – we thought all romances would end that way. Sure there are modern day romances like this but what happens after the happily ever after? As Canadian photographer Dina Goldstein sees it, it’s not rainbows and butterflies. Her latest collection ‘Fallen Princesses’ features the classic Disney princesses in life after the fairy tale, highlighting the darker side to the happily ever after. Cinderella ends up alone in a dive bar  surrounded by old men, Little Red Riding Hood turns to fast food and gains about 10kg and Pocahontas ends up alone with 10 cats.
