What You Really Think About The Opposite Sex

what you really think

Blame it on the battle of sexes or that men are from venus but there’s no denying that men and women have their differences. This was a piece we meant to post last week but I was swamped last week with my bestie’s wedding (more to come on wedding and wedding etiquette). I’m back on track and will still be posting Wednesday and Saturdays.

Anyway, back to what you think of the opposite sex. Whether you’re in your 20s or 30s, it seems age really doesn’t make a difference when it comes to our understanding of men and women. So here is a list that captures what you really think of the opposite sex.

1. They may look like they are deep in thought but they aren’t thinking of anything at all.

Jen, 22

2. They are all nuts. Tark, 30

3. To sum it up in one sentence is just too hard. That’s how I feel about women.  Nick, 35

4. Men are just as crazy as women. Hence all humans are crazy? Sureen, 20 something

5. They aren’t commitment phobes. They just haven’t found the right girl. Iona, 32

6. Men deep down like to be treated like children. They act like them so might as well treat them like one. Sheena, 31

7. When it comes to relationships, men are just as confused as women.  VJ, 34

8. They are a complicated bunch. I’m not saying that in a derogatory way they are just different…and scary!  Dale, 29

9. They cry about everything and when they do us guys panic because we can’t make it stop. Mike, 25

10. You know how girls read into every detail of a text message? Guys do that too…AND they send your text to their friends to find out what your xx at the end meant. They do. Jess, 27

11. Feed them and never let them go hungry…hunger turns into hanger. Andrew, 28

12. How about how their handbags always carry way more stuff than necessary and when it comes to it, they can never find the one thing they are looking for i.e. keys. Nicholas, 32

13. Guys love a good d&m (deep and meaningful conversation) just as much as girls do.  Viola, 26

14. Not all of them want relationships. You just have to look for ones that want a casual hook up. Filter through Tinder. Tim, 27

15. They say women have a biological clock but men in their 30s and 40s panic about not finding someone either. Becky, 28

16. Women are way better at talking about their feelings than men are. It’s why men and women complement each other so well. Alex, 34

17. They crave intimacy as much as we do. Like when you’re at a concert and he stands behind you to protect you. Sophia, 22
