The 3 Men I Would Trust for Dating Advice
Iona is a Wellness Coach specialising in relationships and dating.…
Dating is like navigating a maze that keeps changing its course – it’s unpredictable and filled with situations no one can prepare you for. I love asking men for their opinion when it comes to dating but lately I’ve also come across some really bad dating advice taught by so-called dating coaches who are teaching men and women things like ‘how to get ahead in bed’ or ‘how to make him fall for you’ – I’ve looked into it and their ‘strategies’ are great if you’re looking for a one night stand or a short whirlwind romance but they lack the authenticity to create real and lasting connections. And so I did the research, if you’re going to ask a man for dating advice, go to the following:
1.Matthew Hussey
A columnist for Cosmopolitan Magazine and dating coach, Matthew is like the guy friend every girl wants to have. What I love about him are his practical how-tos (like things to text him when you’ve slept with him too soon) backed by insights on the male mind. He has a podcast, Periscope, Youtube channel and if you sign up for his newsletter, he emails you almost every other day with advice – even women in relationships will want to read this.

2. The Number #1 Way to Respond to His Sexual Texts
3. Ways to Get Him to Call You Instead of Text

2. Matt Boggs
Matt digs deep into a male’s mind and describes how men compartmentalise their brain. He compares a male brain to apartments and how men have separate apartments for emotions, sex drive, hearing, vision. He helps women ‘crack the man code’ and helps single women everywhere navigate through dating with an understanding of a male mind.

3. My Boyfriend
He’s not a dating coach but he’s one of the most honest men I’ve met in my 30 something years of existence. A lover of people watching, he is skilled at spotting connections between people. 9 times out of 10, he’ll call out a scenario before it even happens. He watches people’s body language and the words they use to determine whether or not a love connection is really there. His speciality is helping me help you get through the early stages of a relationship, where so many things can go wrong. X’s best advice for single women:
- If a guy likes a woman, he’ll want to see her often. And it doesn’t matter how much work or extra curricular activities he has on, he’ll make it a priority.
2. If you want a guy to fall for you, don’t focus on your makeup or outfit (it helps but it’s not everything). Focus on how you make them feel.
3. If you want to get married and have kids, the right guy won’t run away when you tell him that. He say something like “sure, if I find the right women, I would want that too”.
These 3 offer dating advice on meeting and attracting men but ultimately finding the love of your life is an inside job. What these guys have in common is that they agree confidence in your own skin is a very sexy thing. To own that, you have to believe it.
