The Beauty Edit: Handbag Essentials

Despite the ample room I have in my handbag, I am a minimalist at heart. And so the beauty products I keep with me at all times need to perform and often do more than one job. Here are the beauty prodz that made the cut.
1. Evo Water Killer Dry Shampoo
If you were to have one hair product in your handbag. This is it. A dry shampoo that also functions as a styling spray, the handbag size Evo wonder is great for touch ups and styling – perfect for fringes and hair that tends to go oily at the end of the day. Shake before use. Spray on hair from arm’s length. One spritz is enough.
2. Liquid TimeBalm Spot Concealer
I have been on a hunt for a concealer for awhile now. The skin around the eye is thin and a delicate area and most concealers I’ve tried are matte and seep into the under eye. The effect of this is that it often emphasises your fine lines. It’s why this liquid concealer by The Balm is the new all star in my makeup routine. Where possible I try to use skincare and makeup that is free of chemicals. This liquid concealer gives a dewy look without the use of parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan.
3. Korres Lip Butter in Quince
The typical lippie is filled with toxins and chemicals that we ingest and so I’m very cautious about what I put on my lips. This lip butter by Korres nourishes lips and gives a sheer tint of colour. I love this pot as a lip balm but it can also double as a cheek tint if you don’t have extra room to carry a blush.
4. Stella McCartney Perfume 30ml
Fragrances are subjective and it smells different on everyone. If you are a fan of rose notes than this one is for you. Everyone should have a signature scent and this is mine.
5. Kiss Me Heroine Make Eyeliner
A good no smudge liquid eyeliner is hard to find. Whenever I travel to Asia, I stock up on this eyeliner. It glides on smoothly, lasts for the day and regardless of your application skills, it’s super user friendly. It’s the perfect shade of black.
